The Blue Earth River is usually a good place to find open water to skip. During the winter of '99, we took advantage of what we found.
Andrew found this 75 foot long stretch. The water was probably about 2 feet deep. "Can you go any SLOWER?"
Same stretch going the opposite direction. This is Andrew's brother Aaron riding his '95 Cougar. (Must be something about those Cougar's.) I think he's pointing at the cameraman!
Here's Andrew again. Same spot, but this time shooting into the sunset. Turned out pretty nicely.
We found this wide spot and thought it would make a nice place to go across two abreast. That's Andrew on the left, and Ardie with his Panther 550.
I decided to get in on the fun this time. We lined up to go across 3 abreast. SInce I had a little hair dryer 440, I needed a bit more of a run than the 550's. It wasn't timed too well and I ended up WAY in front. We tried.
